No GameGuard in Aion at launch

Well, I guess NCSoft West learned through the beta process that North American gamers won’t stand for having the pile of shit that is GameGuard installed on their computers to play a game.  Aion Community Manager Sebastian “Ayase” Streiffert pointed players to a news release that stated:

- After analyzing our open beta test results Aion will not feature GameGuard at launch. We will however continue to pursue ways to effectively utilize GameGuard within Aion in the future. Right now we’re focused on providing players with the best possible Aion experience.

This makes me really happy.  GG NCSoft.
